We know that moving to a new home can be stressful and our aim is to make the process as smooth and stress free as possible. 

We can deal with your residential freehold or leasehold, purchase or sale of a house or flat. If the property you are buying or selling is not a residential property please telephone or complete the contact form below and we will contact you to discuss your requirements and likely costs. If you are taking out a mortgage with most main stream lenders, we can act for you.

We are experienced in dealing with property transfers following a divorce, civil partnership dissolution or separation, whether being carried out informally or following the making of a court order. We can ensure that the terms of a court order are complied with and that the correct timing adhered to. We do not need to have acted for you in the family proceedings to which the transaction relates.

Marshalls is on the panel of approved solicitors for most high street mortgage lenders and banks and our estimate for acting on your purchase is based on us also acting for your lender (if any). If we are not on your lender’s panel, we can still act for you as you are entitled to instruct your own solicitors. However, the lender will still require you to pay their solicitors fees. This usually adds about £300 plus VAT to the total cost, but can vary.

We can communicate with you by telephone, email or post as you prefer. Where the facility is available, we carry out all required searches and investigations via the internet to ensure that there is no unnecessary delay.
