A fully qualified, insured solicitor will meet with you, take your instructions and  prepare your Will, giving you peace of mind about what will happen to your property and possessions after you die. If you have a Will drawn up, you can tell your loved ones what you would like to happen to you after you die and make the estate administration much easier for them. 

A typical standard will is likely to cost  £235.00 plus  VAT of £47.00 total £282.00 which includes verifying your identity and address.

If your will is more complex and we need to incorporate a trust,  our fee is likely to be £460.00 plus vat of £92.00 total £552.00 including the cost of verifying your identity and address. 

This fee does not include providing you with inheritance tax planning. 

Our charges are based on the amount of time which is spent in taking your instructions, advising, writing to you to confirm instructions and on drafting your required will. Our  hourly charging rate is  £225.00 plus vat £45.00 (£270.00). This may be time spent meeting with you to take your instructions, advise or in the preparation of documents. We charge 1/10 of the hourly rate for short letters written (up to 1 page A4)  and for telephone calls of up to 6 minutes. For longer telephone calls we charge on the amount of time spent. For longer letters we charge 1/10 of the hourly rate per A4 sheet.  We also charge  £10.00 per person  plus vat of £2.00 (£12.00) to verify your identity and address
